Movie Review: Juana C. The Movie

Juana C. The Movie is a Political Comedy Film directed by Jade Castro and starring Mae Paner a.k.a. Juana Change and John James Uy. Before I express my Movie Review, I would like to thank Mae Paner or known as Juana Change for inviting me from her Twitter in Personal to watch the Red Carpet Premiere of Juana C. The Movie. The Movie is R-16 so my movie review is for only Rated SPG. 

For Rated SPG:

Juana C. The Movie is R-16 implemented by MTRCB that's why "Rated SPG" is the only type of my movie reviews. This movie is a Politcal-Comedy Film. Juana Change or Mae Paner, the star in the movie Juana C. The Movie is known for its advocacy - Freedom, Justice, and Good Governance that's why the movie has Politics Issue. The story is good even the story are also like the other political film because there is comedy. The film has also scenes that strictly for adults only, that is ok because the film has politics issues and mostly the adults can watch, it will added more entertain because it has comedy scenes. The cast also gave their best in actings.

Overall, Juana C. The Movie is an entertaining film even the story is already familiar. This is best to watch for adults nowadays because of the state of our country.

Movie Review: Hummingbird

Hummingbird is an American action and thriller film directed by Steve Knight and starring Jason Statham. In other countries, the title of the movie is varied like "Crazy Joe", "Redemption" and we get here in our country-"Hummingbird". Before I express my Movie Review, I would like to thank SM Cinema for inviting for inviting me in the advance screening of Hummingbird. The movie is rated R so no Movie Review for Rated G.

For Rated PG:

The Movie is maybe appropriate for the Teenagers. "Maybe" is the word because because it has many action scenes but not much flirting with the young people because the story is not complete in the movie, It was pity because it is new story for action/thriller movie. The advantage also of the Film is that Jason Statham is the main character of the film.

RATING: 5

For Rated SPG:

The Movie Review for adults is similar to the teenagers. Many action scenes and the setting of the film is best for action/thriller film. The night setting of the film is good. The cast are good in acting especially Jason Statham for action scenes as Joseph Jones and Agata Buzek as Sister Cristina. The story of the film is incomplete in the movie like the ending of the film is in hanging position.

RATING: 6

Overall, Hummingbird is good for cast and setting but the story is incomplete.

Movie Review: The Fast and The Furious 6

"All Roads lead to this" This is the Motto of the Fast and Furious 6 since the First Installment. Fast and Furious 6 is a 2013 action film written by Chris Morgan and directed by Justin Lin. It is the sixth installment in the Fast and the Furious film series. Before I express my Movie Review, I would like to thank Nuffnang Philippines and Kettle Korn for the free tickets.

For Rated G:

The Children can watch this movie but not alone as the movie rating is PG-13, It can attract the children in all aspects of the film especially the Cars. In the Sixth (6) Movie of Fast and Furious, the target of the film are Action, Adventure, Crime and maybe Comedy. There are action scenes that would not do for the kids to watch but they still enjoy the racing cars on the road.

RATING: 7.5

For Rated PG:

I Highly recommend this movie for the teenagers fond of action movies especially those with interests in cars. In the Sixth (6) Movie of Fast and Furious, It contains two groups who both want to win against pride, against love and against racing cars. If you are just new in this movie, no doubt that you want to watch the previous movies of Fast and Furious and if you are a veteran watching this movie, keep Calm and recommend the 7th Film. Full of actions and amazing effects of the racing cars.

RATING: 8.5

For Rated SPG:

I do not recommend the adult to watch it because I think they are willing. In the news headline, some of the movie characters came here in the Philippines for the Asian Premiere last May 15. It is advantage to attract the public to watch the Fast and Furious 6 but whenever the movie characters came or not, it will hit in the theaters. Fast and Furious 6 plot is simple for the genre of Action, Adventure, and Crime but the Humor added! The effects, actions or battles brings the movie to be attractive. The characters have also their best in acting. Vin Diesel as Torreto, Paul Walker as Brian O'Conner, Dwayne Johnson as Luke Hobbs, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, Luke Evans as Owen Shaw and many more!

RATING: 9

Overall, Fast and Furious 6 is a great film, two thumbs up for the Cast, Effects, and Actions that can be seen in the film. 

OVERALL AVERAGE RATING: 8.3

"If you had the powers of MAN OF STEEL for one (1) week, how would you use it?"

It is easy question for me, Why? because I'm a Fan of Superman. Not necessarily obvious in the picture below. :P

Anyway that is Introduction in the question (because avid fan since I like Superman / Man of Steel when I was young until now). Superman or Man of Steel in the modern times, He has three MAIN SUPER POWERS - Flight, Speed, and Strength so I want these three main super powers and have it.

FLIGHT - The Power I like best for Superman/Man of Steel Powers even if other superheroes can also has it. If you can compare from the other superheroes, Superman/Man of Steel fly powers can go to the outer space! (that is what I observed). If I had this power, I will use it in one (1) week to fly in the air because I wanted see the clouds behind it for my personal reason, because Superman/Man of Steel is a superhero that contributes to the people, I will use my power FLIGHT to spy in all places that if the villain came (maybe a person or a natural disaster) I will warn them.


SPEED - The Power that you can't beat Superman/Man of Steel and even co-superheroes, such as almost invisible due to excessive speed. If I had this power, I will use it in one (1) week to do my household chores, daily exercise, going to school, doing my assignments/seatwors/projects (I am energetic hahahahaha!) for my personal reason but again Superman/Man of Steel is a superhero that contributes to the people, I will use my power SPEED to rescue the people at risk and to help the people who are in need in more of speeds.

STRENGTH - The Power that Superman/Man of Steel is great and brave. Can lift the heavy objects, Can able to compete with the mob and many more! If I had this power, I will use it in one (1) week like my Speed Power to my Household Chores, Daily Doing and many more for myself but again and again that Superman/Man of Steel is a superhero and I will use my power STRENGTH to eliminate the evil person or thing. 

All my answers is common but surely I am a Filipino who fight our nation given a week's Superman/Man of Steel strength to use it in right. 



Overall, All the powers of Superman/Man of Steel is a talent given by God (maybe that's fact). I am satisfied with whatever God gave for my talent but the One Week empowerment of Superman / Man of Steel is you are extremely lucky.

Movie Review: Hunter X Hunter: Phantom Rouge

Hunter X Hunter: Phantom Rouge is one of a kind anime movie. Featuring the main characters: Killua, Gon, Kurapika together with Pairo, Leorio, Retz, Hisoka and The Phantom Troupe. The movie goes around between the group of Killua, Gon, Kurapika, Leorio, with the help of Hisoka against one of the members of the Phantom Troupe who is a Puppeteer Master/God. In this movie, we will see how strong relationship between the characters there is. Here's my movie review

Hunter X Hunter: Phantom Rouge is a very good choice when it comes to children. Aside from the fact that it was an animated movie, some of the characters were also kids which they can easily cope with. For an instance, there are puppets in the movie but for an additional info, they are not just ordinary puppets. Kids will enjoy watching Hunter X Hunter because of its exciting adventures or events that the characters will encounter during their journey. Some children may be quiet watchers but who knows that their imaginations can be improve or become more active while watching this kind of movie. Despite of the Japanese language used by the casts, there is an English subtitle so you’ll surely understand what the story is all about and enjoy watching it even more. Even if the kids who couldn’t read yet, they could also easily understand the movie and be amaze, based on its actions so no need to bother. Hunter X Hunter is suitable for kids but remember, they still need the accompany of the older ones for guidance.

For Rated PG:

Hunter X Hunter: The Phantom Rouge is very suitable for teenagers, why? Because most of the teenagers in this generation likely to watch animated/action movies particularly the teens who were very addicted to the good-looking anime characters. For everyone’s information, this movie already had the characters that everyone’s looking for. Hunter X Hunter: Phantom Rouge will surely catch the attention of the teenagers because of the beauty of the story itself. Another feature of this story is there are new twists that will make the movie more exciting and there are also new characters that you’ll encounter while watching. There’s also a life lesson that you could have learn from it. As an example, in this movie you’ll see how strong relationship that the characters have to each other and how each of them are going to help in resolving a single problem. Exciting actions that the casts will do just to reach their goal in every single challenge are also very catchy. Hunter X Hunter: Phantom Rouge should watch by everyone and for sure you’ll never regret after watching it.

For Rated SPG:
One of the best and cool anime’s created by Japan was the Hunter X Hunter. Not only children and teenagers can enjoy this kind of movie because adults can do too. As adults watch it, they’ll surely feel like they were back in their young ages because of the movie’s nature. For example, the characters were young and animated. Even if this movie is not the nature of adults, it can be as well as they’re enjoying watching it. Hunter X Hunter: The Phantom Rouge is a perfect movie that a family could enjoy while watching. For sure, it’s a perfect family bonding with your loved ones. You already have your entertainment and you’re enjoying it at the same time.

Movie Review: Star Trek Into Darkness

Star Trek Into Darkness is about a science-fiction (sci-fi) film about the Human Beings related outside the world, this movie is the twelfth installment in the Star Trek Franchise (that's great!) and the sequel in the 2009's Star Trek. Here's my movie review for Star Trek Into Darkness.

Note: The Style of my movie review to those still not know is for everyone so I have 3 movie reviews from Children (Rated G), Teenagers (Rated PG), and Adults (Rated SPG).

This is for Children, Star Trek Into Darkness is an Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi Film (as Genres), Effects and Actions will entertain for Children for this movie, Great Villain and Protagonist for the Actions inside the starship and even in the Earth. This is a Science-Fiction Film that will entertain also for Children that they never been seen before, but I think this will be in personal for the great technology in the modern times, anyway, the timeline story will not be for children especially the Definition of terms of the movie and also a little scene that not for children (I'm not encourage the children to watch out that scene) hahahahaha.

Ratings: (Scale 1-10) - 8

For Rated PG:
This is for Teenager, Star Trek Into Darkness is a sci-fi movie, this can high recommend for Teenagers for the great build up of the story by the cast, the battles, the effects and the timeline of the story. This is a sequel but If you are first to heard this movie, I recommend for Teenagers to watch it even they did not know the history of the movie and the Definition of Terms in the movie. Jump-Packed Action you will see in the Climax Part of the movie. It is also great for this movie for the serious battles, there's still Humor that will appear.

Ratings: (Scale 1-10) - 8.5

For Rated SPG:
This is for Adult, The Cast did great for this movie, for Chris Pine as Commander/Captain James T. Kirk, for Zachary Quinto as First Officer Spock. The villain did also great for more entertain movie but wait, I will not name the villain because this movie, Star Trek Into Darkness have many twists! that's why this is more to watch out for the Adults that will watch Star Trek Into Darkness. The timeline of the story is good, the actions and the effects of the movie, thumbs up for the Director J.J. Abrams.

Ratings: (Scale 1-10) - 9

Overall, Star Trek Into Darkness is the movie did great for a sci-fi film, effects, battles, actings and more! thumbs up sign after you will watch this movie. I recommend to watch it in 3D, this would be great to watch.

Question: "If you were star in your own movie, what would your story be?"

Nice question, Good Day everyone, that's a wonderful question......... Hahahahaha looks like I'm one of the candidate in a contest that has Q&A portion. The question looks familiar to me because I love stories! so this is my answer in the question.

If I'm one of the star or the head star (wow!) in a movie, I want a Drama genre because that's the culture of a Filipino making a film. I know that in the worldwide industry that Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Hero Films are making the people in one place-Cinema/Theater but you can see in the prestigious awards that still Drama Films dominate like in the modern times. My Idols in Drama  in International are Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio while here in Local are Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes. Back in the question, in my movie, I like to have a "increase drama" or the underdog goes alive! that have many lessons so here's the plot.

Note: Angelo is the name of the protagonist.

Title: My Extreme Transformation

In the Daily life of Angelo, he was always ignored of all the people he knows even his own family because of his ability, talent, etc. One time, Angelo surrendered and get away from his own family. When the period that he is away from his own family, he is weak with no food and sleep but a good-hearted rich lady assisted him. Angelo told all his pasts from the person who helped him, the good-hearted rich lady has owned a prestigious cosmetics/salon store that's why she is rich so the way to solved the problem of Angelo, to have an Extreme Transformation. All transformation are successful but the attitude will stay or not? or there will be a revenge from the pasts?

Ok! my plot is too long but I do my best to shorten it! hahahaha 

This will make good if my film when release it in Cinema/Theater (Dreaming!) with eating Kettle Korn, it will poppin' fun all time! because this will make more reliable when watching a movie anytime, anywhere! :D
