The Wolverine movie poster
The Wolverine is a 2013 American-Australian superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character 'Wolverine'. It is the sixth installment in the X-Men film series and six times for Hugh Jackman to be the leading actor in the Wolverine films.

For Rated G:

2013's Wolverine is not very unified agenda for several films watched this year but it will talk about after you watch. Some scenes in the film is not for children but if you're fan of this film, go and watch it now because after the film, you will not be disappointed. Action scenes helped to get the movie good as usual for Superhero films but the power of Wolverine and his/her demons is different.

RATING: 6

Rated PG:

In the 'Wolverine', Almost the 2-hour running time are having an action scenes. Many parts of the film can be seen from the structure of this movie especially the train scene was awesome. As usual for past superhero films that it will focus the life of the superhero. It is for Logan in this film that many information must be watch. The movie attracts also the scenes that presenting what is the culture of East Asia and specific at Japan.

RATING: 8

For Rated SPG:

As I said in my movie review in Rated G in some scenes that not appropriate for children, it is reverse for the Adults. The story of Wolverine of superhero is good but it will determine on how the film developed. Many twists in the film especially the end part of the film. The cast of the movie delivers good in actings especially Hugh Jackman as 'Wolverine'.

RATING: 7

Overall, The Wolverine is good with many action scenes, featured also the East Asia culture and the lead cast Hugh Jackman was great in this film after he experienced six times to be a 'Wolverine'.

OVERALL AVERAGE RATING: 7

Movie Review: World War Z

World War Z movie poster
World War Z is a 2013 American apocalyptic horror film directed by Marc Forster. It is based on the 2006's World War Z novel by Max Brooks. The film stars Brad Pitt as Gerry Lane, a former United Nations investigator who must travel the world to find a way to stop a zombie-like pandemic.

For Rated G:

First, I don't recommend this movie for the kids that hate horror films because of many reasons but if they try to dare to watch this film, the hate-horror mind will remove as the story of this film is new. To be added also the concept of the movie about the family of Gerry (Brad Pitt) in this film that maybe a focus for the kids. They will amaze in this zombie-apocalypse film.

RATING: 6

For Rated PG:

The story of World War Z was fully informed but as the theme of the movie about the zombies was not fully focused. Many actions and scary scenes can be found in this film and it helps the performance of the cast of the film. It enjoys also many settings of the film around the world. Action scenes between the human against the zombies bring the movie alive.

RATING: 7.5

In the past zombie films, it was all focused in the life of the zombie and the human but it was already obvious in the title of the film that it is aim the world war of zombies and human being then they find how will they stop it but the end part of the movie is in hanging position with lack of end story scenes and the movie ended in the story of the family. The cast delivers their great performance in this film. Applause also for the effects of the film that looks like it is in real-life for the zombies, etc.

RATING: 7

Overall, World War Z is new for the past zombie films but it was a bad part in the end of the film to have an exclamation point in the end.

OVERALL AVERAGE RATING: 6.8

WORLD WAR Z is now showing in theaters nationwide. Watch now before others can tell the full movie! ;)

MTRCB Rating: PG-13

Movie Review: My Lady Boss

My Lady Boss Official Poster.jpg
My Lady Boss Movie Poster
My Lady Boss is a Filipino romantic comedy film directed by Jade Castro, starring Richard Gutierrez and Marian Rivera. It is produced by GMA Films together with Regal Films.

For Rated G:

My Lady Boss is a romantic comedy film, it is not highly recommend for the kids to watch this kind of movie even though there are some humor scenes, it is not appropriate for them to watch this movie. If ever they will watch, they will not be related in the story but they will understand it if there's a parental guidance because the story of this film is good.

RATING: 3

For Rated PG:

Surely that the teenagers can be related in the story of this film. As some Filipino rom-com movie past by, the story of this film is new but the Filipino culture in the industry of film story about rom-com is similar. Many teenagers especially the girls will "hoity-hoity" in the love story of Zach and Evelyn.

RATING: 5

For Rated SPG:

More related scenes for adults are expected to see in this film. For the rom-com movies, many moviegoers will watch it and My Lady Boss is one of it. The cast of the movie delivers in the theme of the movie especially Richard Gutierrez and Marian Rivera. After a long wait in this film premiere, not obvious in the scenes of the film.

RATING: 6.5

For Rated SPG:

Overall, My Lady Boss is in the line for the film to watch in rom-com movies. Great cast also and after the long wait for the premiere of this movie, many can say that this movie didn't dissapoint the rom-com movie fans.

Pacific Rim is a 2013 American Science Fiction film directed by Guillermo del Toro. The story of the film is about the Earth is under attack by monsters in Pacific Ocean. To combat the monsters, humanity unites to create the Jaegers (a big robot that controlled by 2 pilots whose minds are joined by a neural bridge.

For Rated G:

Pacific Rim is about the robots so a big attraction for the kids to watch it and this movie didn't dissapoint us. The story is understandble for the kids and they will have their own world when they watch this movie. Perfect also for the movie are the battles that looks like no ending. Great performance also for the monsters that even though they are not in real life, it can be like the true villain as the interpretation of the kids moviegoers.

RATING: 9

Rated PG:

The story is understandble for kids, more on for the teenagers and better attraction for the robots in this film. Thanks for the technology nowadays that looks like the effects of this film are in real-life but no one can wish that there will be monsters that will get here in our world especially in Pacific Ocean where our country is near. Effects of the film will dazzle the teenagers for the many battles of the protagonist and the antagonist. Great information also for some characters for explaining how the theme of the movie happened. The battles/fights in land, water, air brings the movie to be a blockbuster film

RATING: 9

Rated SPG:

For adults, this movie is also for them. With the effects connected to the battles are in the high note, the story is cannot be for the adults. Many sci-fi films are also like Pacific Rim in terms of the story but as I said that the effects-battles brings it. The cast also brings it. Applaused for the Director Guillermo del Toro for this movie that blockbuster hit.

RATING: 7

Overall, Pacific Rim is a blockbuster hit, even though this movie is not in line that "sure-win" for the number of the moviegoers. Simple story for Sci-Fi films but the connection of Effects and Battles brings it.

OVERALL AVERAGE RATING: 8.3

PACIFIC RIM is now showing in theaters nationwide. In 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D. Watch now before others can tell the full movie! ;)

Movie Review: Despicable Me 2

Despicable Me 2 Movie Poster

Despicable Me 2 is a 2013 American 3D computer-animated family sci-fi, crime comedy film and the sequel to the 2010 animated film Despicable Me 2. Produced by Illumination Entertainment and distributed by Universal Pictures, both films are directed by Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud.

For Rated G:

In the sequel of the Despicable Me, it was focused in the hit minions. More attractions for the children to watch this movie. In this movie, new characters are in the line to be featured that looks like the story of this movie was not a sequel but a 'comeback' of the characters. If you're a fan of Despicable Me since it's first installment, Despicable Me 1 is better than Despicable Me 2 but had little difference. It is the story that differentiate the 2 movies. The 1st movie have more lessons that Gru overcome his villain attitude. It is the way of lessons like this movie to establish for the children to watch it.

RATING: 8

For Rated PG:

After 3 years, it is the sequel of the Despicable Me. It is more hit from the first installment for the teenagers to like this kind of movie. The minions are the star of the movie for bringing the movie in great movie, to be added also the character of Gru and the 3 young girls. It was great entertainment also for the characters for their humor in many ways that gives the movie for the kids at heart. The story of this movie is different from the first film but it is more entertaining as more views for the 'cute' minions.

RATING: 7

For Rated SPG:

For this kind of movie that is animated, it seems that not all adults will watch this movie except for the kids at heart but the theme of the Despicable Me 2 is not all for kids issues, it's because the story of the movie gave the time for Gru to find his love. It was also an entertaining movie for the adults because of the minions for their humor in this movie. There are some lack for the sequel of the movie, that is the story of the movie that the Despicable Me 1 have more 'stations' than the sequel. The voice of the characters are very good especially the voice of the minions that the voice of the director of this movie - Pierre Coffin. He lent his voice to 899 minions.

RATING: 5.5

Overall, Despicable Me 2 is more entertaining for more humors of the characters but it was down against the first installment in terms of the story of the movie. Watch out on December 2014, the spin-off/prequel of Despicable Me. The movie "Minions".

OVERALL AVERAGE RATING: 6.8
