Movie Review: World War Z

World War Z movie poster
World War Z is a 2013 American apocalyptic horror film directed by Marc Forster. It is based on the 2006's World War Z novel by Max Brooks. The film stars Brad Pitt as Gerry Lane, a former United Nations investigator who must travel the world to find a way to stop a zombie-like pandemic.

For Rated G:

First, I don't recommend this movie for the kids that hate horror films because of many reasons but if they try to dare to watch this film, the hate-horror mind will remove as the story of this film is new. To be added also the concept of the movie about the family of Gerry (Brad Pitt) in this film that maybe a focus for the kids. They will amaze in this zombie-apocalypse film.

RATING: 6

For Rated PG:

The story of World War Z was fully informed but as the theme of the movie about the zombies was not fully focused. Many actions and scary scenes can be found in this film and it helps the performance of the cast of the film. It enjoys also many settings of the film around the world. Action scenes between the human against the zombies bring the movie alive.

RATING: 7.5

In the past zombie films, it was all focused in the life of the zombie and the human but it was already obvious in the title of the film that it is aim the world war of zombies and human being then they find how will they stop it but the end part of the movie is in hanging position with lack of end story scenes and the movie ended in the story of the family. The cast delivers their great performance in this film. Applause also for the effects of the film that looks like it is in real-life for the zombies, etc.

RATING: 7

Overall, World War Z is new for the past zombie films but it was a bad part in the end of the film to have an exclamation point in the end.

OVERALL AVERAGE RATING: 6.8

WORLD WAR Z is now showing in theaters nationwide. Watch now before others can tell the full movie! ;)

MTRCB Rating: PG-13
